The Heist
Been working on some beats. It’s been a long time. I’ve been meddling with record&reason and have started putting some demo’s together. I couldn’t be screwed getting my whole mic setup out, so vocals have been captured with my samson gomic, with a fingers-spread hand used as a pop-shield lol. Hey, it worked.
This is “The Heist”. UPDATED 26/05/2010: longer now and much much better quality.

Lyrics:
Gimme some money, gimme some money.
Yo motherfucker bamm.
Treat as a WIP. I’ll update the file again when I’m not a slack bastard.
Mad Jap Atomic
I have a dream. That when someone gives you shit, a super-human Japanese warrior comes down and opens a can of wupp-ass on your adversaries.
Mad Jap Atomic is one of the first songs I ever wrote, and its the very first hip-hop orientated lyrics I ever wrote. Fuelled by guitars, drums and bass, along with a healthy dose of breaks and samples, this song carries a hip-hop rock vibe, inspired by such groups as the Beastie Boys.

All My Friends
We all have friends in one form or another – but do we really need them? This song deals with the issue.
An old-school rock song featuring the standard three-piece, incorporating the vibe of such bands as The Vines and The Hives.
This song has been through several revisions since it was first developed back when I was in high school. Times change. Friends don’t.

I Like My Metal Software
A song about how full-on hardcore metal-rockers suck.
Take thick crunching guitars, fuzzy basses and distorted samples, then blend with a hint of d’n'b. Now smash. Burn. Repeat.
Nuff said.

It’s Like That
A hip-hop song inspired by Run DMC, featuring a plethora of 80’s style synths and phat beats.
Its Like That deals with the issues of everyday madness. People give you shit, stars rise up without any kind of talent and the whole industry has gone to dick.
Shit happens. Its like this…

Candy Girl
Pop track about sluts. Nuff said. Some people in particular may be involved – you decide…
Candy Girl is one of the older songs that has been under the recording process for some time. While pretty much finished around 2002, it has undergone a few minute changes, such as sample additions.
One of the more different songs on the album. Features a small amount of electric guitar, but mainly synth based. WARNING: Profanities abound.

1012kb
A fast punk rock song with the standard guitar/bass/drums combo, as well as synths and a bit of vocoder thrown in.
1012kb – not quite a MB. This song is about me and my many inadequacies. Somewhat different to the other tracks on the album – I mainly created it to put some rock flavour beside the other tracks (that was before I ended up making more rock style tracks). Not much else to say really. One of the more lower profile tracks but certainly still has its place. Enjoy.

Mic Cheque MCs
The first song on the album Crazymonkey Runaway Spacetrain, featuring synths, beats and guitars.
Mic Cheque MCs is a electo-grunge rock track with hip-hop vocals. Originally recorded around 2002, the song has been subsequently re-recorded and remixed several times, making what it is today.
It headlines the album as its melding of different genres and samples are a good example of the album’s overal sound.
