These two places EB and Game, both offer price matching. Both have the same conditions. Which, frankly, are fucking stupid:
1. must be a store in the same vicinity as the store you want the price matched at (ie. cannot be an online store or in another suburb or state); and
2. must have a catalogue in hand or the name address and phone number of the competitor; and
3. the item must be in stock with the competitor for the price match to be honoured.
Ok, am I the only one who finds this fucking stupid. Um, if I am in the
same vicinity as the store that has the good price, and the store has
it in stock, why wouldnt I just take my business to the store that
fucking has it rather than having to fucking dick around like a fuck
with the competitor to try and get them to match the price? It's not
like we're trying to buy from the lessor of two evils or trying to keep
business with Australian companies - they are both foreign fucks that
reek just as much as each other.
The alternative? Take your business online, a process which is less painful on your wallet, ears and anus. I want both these fucking pricks out of my country. They both offer little value, except being able to give you the game instantly (in soiled-second-hand-sold-as-new-condition I might add). Not to mention drove out all the little cool stores that had insanely rad prices and great service. Gotta love those holding cases they have made out of sandpaper.
