It's about bloody time. Welcome to Joel "Jivemaster" Bird's homepage. This is where you get to hear me bitch about the site for 5 minutes. Don't worry, it isn't that boring ;).

This small site has been primarily constructed to showcase some of the works created by me, a young, upcoming musical producer with composing and performing abilities to boot. Over the years I have experimented with (or moreso, lived and breathed) audio production and on occasion a little graphics and web-design, and thought it was about time to unveil a few of the better creations to anyone who finds them interesting ;). I also hope to present some of my other projects that I persue in the future as well, whatever they may be.

You may or may not know that I am quite a fan of Japanese art (hence the jap-tech slant on the site) and I like some anime/manga (Sailor Moon!), even if it's a bit on the weird side (!). I also enjoy music - mostly rock, hip-hop and electronic stuff, with Liam Howlett (ala The Prodigy) being my musical idol (EDIT: "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" rocks). My other favourites are Bis and Regurgitator.

Recently (2003-2004) I have been working on my first album, which features 13 songs that I have wrote in recent times as well as stuff from way back in high school. This project (MNZ) is my baby and I work on her every day. The CD should hopefully be finished this year. In the past I also did some remixing of game tunes (mostly from the Sonic The Hedgehog series) for a site called OverClocked ReMix, so you may remember me from there, for those of you who have stumbled across this page.

Please note that I am far from finished the site so there are many things I want to add (such as some pages sprouting from the menu links above). Will get around to it soon. I promise.
